[News]  2PM’s album ranks high on music charts in Korea and Japan

2PM (Jun-K, Nickhun, Teak Yeon, Woo Young, Joon Ho, and Chan Sung) are heating up Japan with their new Korean album Grown. Their agency, JYP Entertainment, announced yesterday that the group’s new album hit the ground running.

Grown, Version A ranked second on the weekly imported album chart of Japanese HMV and first on Tower Record’s Daily Chart, which was announced on the 20th of May. The B Version of the album, which is scheduled to be released soon, ranked at the top on HMV’s weekly pre-order chart. The album also ranked second on the weekly general album chart of Tower Records and tenth on the Oricon weekly chart.

Grown, Version A is 2PM’s first album in two years and is in great demand. Version B is to be released on the 23th. Officials of the Japanese music industry were astonished at the albums’ sales because they are imported albums that haven’t even been officially released yet. The group’s EP “Give Me Love” ranked at the top on Tower Record’s daily pre-order chart, so the group has swept both Korean and Japanese album charts.

The group is scheduled to hold a concert in June.

[News] 2PM has revealed the trailer of “Listen to This Song and Come Back”

In the trailer of one of the lead tracks of 2PM’s latest studio album, Grown, the members of the group are seen standing on a skyscraper looking down on a cityscape. The song is “Listen to This Song and Come Back,” which resonates with a mournful mood. The song expresses a man’s yearnings and regret over a lover. In the video, the group members are dressed in style and show a warmhearted charm.

An agency spokesperson says: “2PM’s ‘Listen to This Song and Come Back” is the first song on the second half of 2PM’s latest studio album, which comes two years after their last one. The group is back with a more mature image.”

2PM  plan to perform their new material on TV for the fir9st time on a show titled “2PM Returns,” to air on MBC. The teaser makes use of the theme song from Superman and displays the title “2PM Returns.”

The group has completed the recording of “2PM Returns,” and the program will air at 12:30 a.m. on May 11. The new album comes out on May 6.

[Videos] 2PM Returns' trailer released

2PM is on the run for their comeback with 'GROWN' on May 6. After that is their comeback show on May 11 at midnight on MBC, '2PM Returns'.

The trailer used the famous 'Superman' background intro and its logo that they reversed to make 'S' a '2'.
