f (x) has dominated the charts in the first week of August to the 2nd full album 'Pink Tape' ! 

their title song "Rum Pum Pum Pum" has topped the weekly charts in all 8 music site, Melon, olleh Music, Monkey3, Bugs, Naver Music, Daum Music, Genie, and Mnet, from 29/7 to 04/8. 

During the same week, f (x) also topped Hanteo weekly chart with 2nd full album 'Pink Tape', became one of the few girl groups dominating the charts this year.

f(x) has recently made their comeback with the interestingly titled “Rum Pum Pum Pum,” and with every comeback comes the eagerly anticipated appearances on a wide way range of outlets. The group has also, of course, been doing the rounds, and in a recent radio appearance, the f(x) members revealed who their ideal type of man would be.

On a recent airing of MBC Standard FM’s “Shindong’s Shimshimtapa,” the f(x) members explained in details what kind of qualities their ideal man should have. Krystal’s conditions were relatively simple with her ideal guy being someone “That looks good in horn-rimmed glasses, a white shirt, jeans and black hair while being funny and having their own distinct fragrance .”

Meanwhile Victoria went into her ideal type in a bit more detail saying that they should “Be tall, not a smoker, clean and look nice in white” while also stating that it would also be nice if said guy was also someone that had “a reasonably tall nose bridge with big hands. A man that looks manly. They don’t have to be too handsome but they should have their own distinct fragrance and have pretty muscular lines.”

Dana stepped up to show some SM love and help out her juniors, writing lyrics for a track in f(x)′s new album.

12 tracks were released from f(x)′s second studio album Pink Tape on July 29. The promotional single Rum Pum Pum Pum, of course, has been gathering much attention, but another song, titled No More, has also been gaining in popularity due to its lyrics.

No More′s lyrics are about a friend who changes completely whenever she sees a man, and were written by CSJH′s Dana.

On July 25, Dana had said about the lyrics, "There′s a song that I wrote the lyrics for in f(x)′s upcoming album. I wrote it four years ago based on a true story; I wonder what people will think of it."

Rum Pum Pum Pum took over music charts with its release.

f(x) is experiencing a sweet tooth with the recent success of its latest album!

On July 30, it’s been reported that the group’s second studio album “Pink Tape” has topped the iTunes album chart in Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia only a day after release.

f(x) also topped Korean real-time and daily charts such as on Melon, Olleh Music, Genie, Bugs, Naver Music, Daum Music, Mnet.com, Soribada, and Monkey3.

After the report, Sulli left a thankful message on her me2day along with a photo. The message says, “I’m really, really happy that our title track ‘Rum Pum Pum Pum’ placed first on the music chart^^ Let it continue like this~♥ Heehee! Thanks everyone! ♥”

A representative from the agency stated, “The result shows that it’s due to fans’ attention both in Korea and abroad.”

“Rum Pum Pum Pum” is a pop dance song that has a great addictive melody along with f(x)’s familiar electronic overtones.

f(x) will serve as your alarm clock as they collaborated with the mobile app, Dodol Pop.

After much waiting f(x) has finally released their much awaited Rum Pum Pum Pum music video from their second studio album “Pink Tape” for all to see. The new music video, as seen from their previous teaser, is full of colour and is just bursting with charm.

The song itself will also be pleasure for all f(x) fans. It is a pop dance song that has this great addictive melody to it with f(x)’s familiar electronic overtones. The song’s highlight is definitely the chorus that mixes the lyrics “Rum Pum Pum Pum” with an almost marching band like quality to it. Overall the song and music video is a great return for the group, that keeps the familiar styles you come to expect from f(x) as a group while introducing enough new elements to make the song and music video feel very fresh.

The album will be released on July 29 and the girls will have their first comeback stage beforehand on July 25 through Mnet’s “M! Countdown.”

On July 22, the girls released a video teaser for title track “Rum Pum Pum Pum” from their second studio album “Pink Tape.” All the girls show off their individual charms, but fans have remarked on the visual transformation of Krystal dying her hair red and Luna sporting jet black hair.

“Rum Pum Pum Pum” will be a pop dance track with an addictive electric guitar sound and percussion rhythm. The beat of the track will be emphasized with a marching band sound that goes along with the lyrics “rum pum pum pum” in the song.

The album will be released on July 29 and the girls will have their first comeback stage beforehand on July 25 through Mnet’s “M! Countdown.”

Girl group f(x) already signaled their return through series of artistic teasers, and now they have announced the title of upcoming promotional track for new album ‘Pink Tape’.

On July 19, SM Entertainment announced that f(x)’s new song will be called “Rum Pum Pum Pum”, which will be a pop dance song with addictive guitar sound and exciting percussion rhythm. It will have a marching band sound and repetitive words “Rum Pum Pum Pum” that will catch the listeners’ ears.

Meanwhile, f(x) will also be making its comeback stage on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on July 25. The second full length album will be released on the 29th.
