According to an announcement made by the Korea Music Copyright Association on April 18, the title song, “Hello,” of Jo Young Pil’s 19th studio album was composed by three songwriters, including Scott Krippayne, who also composed the song that won American Idol 6, the well-known U.S. music competition.
Born in 1971, Scott Krippayne, is a singer and songwriter who wrote the song “This Is My Now,” sung by Jordin Sparks, who won American Idol at the age of 17. Jordin competed with Blake Lewis in the final, in which both sang the same song.
Eight songs on Jo’s 19th album have been registered with the Korea Music Copyright Association, including “Bounce,” “Wanna Walk,” “What I Miss,” “Clumsy Wind,” “One Day on the Way Home,” and “Need Some Refreshment.” Jo wrote “One Day on the Way Home” himself.
