Female duo Davichi will release a digital single album Summer Day's Memory.
On June 27, Core Contents Media announced that the duo will release the title song "Because I Want To See You Today" on July 4.
The new song is reportedly a rhythmical song with a medium tempo and emotional lyrics that maximizes the wide range of poignant effects Davichi is known to produce through their songs.
"Because I Want To See You Today" was in the running to be the title song in Davichi's 2nd regular album. But as Choi Gyusung, the composer, recommended that it would be a great listen in the rain, the company decided to delay its release until July when the wet season begins in Asia. As such, the song was edited and re-recorded for the new release.
"On rainy days, when you are sipping on coffee, when you just want to drink, while you are driving or traveling alone, this song would be great company," said Davichi.
