After School to make their comeback in Japan.


Girl group After School is finally making their comeback in Japanese market as they will be releasing their 5th Japanese single. 'Heaven' is said to be the title of the upcoming single which will be released on the 2nd of October. 'Heaven' will be containing 3 tracks including 'Crazy Driver' which had been featured in After School member Juyeon's lingerie advertisement.

[News] Big Bang Daesung Gains Attention with Performance at Japan 'A-Nation' Festival

Big Bang member Daesung gained much attention with his performance at the Japan 'A-Nation' summer festival.

On August 4, Daesung attended the 'a-nation island hit Island Carnival 2013'.

Daesung was given the honor to perform the finale and sang a total of 7 songs from his 'D'scover' album.

His new song, "I Love You" rang the hearts of fans as he showed off his deep and heartfelt vocals.

Daesung commented, "Last year we attended this festival as a group. This year I am here myself and I thank my fans for supporting my solo career as well."

Daesung performed a variety of different styles on stage and shook the hearts of fans.

On the other hand, Big Bang will begin their Japan 6 dome tour in November.

Group KARA has revealed their PV for their 9th Japan single, Thank you Summer Love.

They have released the PV first in order to gain fan's interests before the actual release on July 24.

This song is a perfect summer song as it features a fun and upbeat sound. This song is to be a partner song to their other summer hit song, "Go Go Summer!"

The video reveals a fresh and colorful image that washes away all the heat from the summer.

Fans showed a positive response to the PV saying that it was a perfect song for the group.

JYJ's magazine, 'The JYJ' will be released in both Korea and Japan. This magazine was created to celebrate their 1000 days since the formation of their group.

Their agency stated, "For the second issue of this magazine, we will be focusing on the theme of 'friends'.

This magazine will be filled with photo shoots and stories that express and showcase the members close friendship. They will also talk about their personal experiences as well."

They continued, "It will also contain behind the scene and practice room pictures from their Tokyo Dome performance this past April. Many other never before seen pictures will also be revealed."

This summer special magazine will be a total of 120 pages with 30 pages of photo shoots. They wil also reveal their preparation process for their 2013 JYJ Membership Week.

JYJ stated, "We are thankful to have all our fans be our friends as well. We hope that this present will be a way for us to show our appreciation to our fans."

Group U-KISS revealed a PV online of their upcoming Japanese album, Inside of Me.

This song features catchy and fun songs along with amazing vocals. This album will release on July 24.
This PV is longer than most videos as it is 4 minutes long.

The members are seen wearing dark clothing to match the grungy and mysterious theme of their concept.
They keep a monochromatic theme throughout the entire video and show off a clean look.

This album will release with 3 different versions: CD, CD+DVD and CD_Blu ray DVD.

On the other hand, they will be hold a Zepp tour in Japan starting on July 30 to August 30.

[News] SHINee Saitama Concert for Japan Tour is Successful with 100,000 Fans

Popular group SHINee has successfully finished their Saitama concert as part of their Japan tour with 100,000 fans.

SHINee opened up their new Japan tour, 'SHINEE Japan Arena Tour SHINee World 2013~ Boys Meet U' and held a concert in Saitama on June 28-30. Each day they met with around 33,000 fans, meeting a total of 100,000 fans altogether.

During this concert, they performed their new title song, "Breaking News" as well as other songs from their second Japan album including, "Replay", "Juliette" as well as songs from their single for a total of 29 songs.

They also held their first stage for their Korea hit song, "Dream Girl" as well as their new Japan single song, "Boys Meet  U" which will release on August 21.

Previously, SHINee held their first Japan arena tour, 'SHINee World 2012' and visited 7 different cities in Japan for a total of 20 performances and met with a total of 200,000 fans.

They were also the first K-Pop group to have the most fans attend for their first arena tour.

This year's tour will continue on until December as they visit 8 different cities in Japan for a total of 13 concerts and meet with 200,000 fans.

Their next concert will be on July 6-7 in Osaka.

[News] JYJ Jaejoong Successfully Completes Asia Tour Finale with 45,000 Fans

Group JYJ member Jaejoong successfully completed his 5 month Asia tour with his finale concert in Japan.

On June 24-26, he held his 'Kim Jae Joong Grand Finale Live Concert and Fan Meeting' concert at the Yokohama Arena and met with 45,000 fans.

With all three days sold out, Jaejoong entertained his fans by splitting his concert into two parts, part one being a mini fan meeting and part two being a mini concert.

For the concert portion of the finale, Jaejoong sang many songs from his first album including, "Precious", "Mikazuki", "Glamorous Sky" and others. All his performances were sung live, melting the hearts of fans with his melodic voice.

At the end of his finale, he stated, "I missed you all very much. Thank you so much for taking the time out to come see me. I hope that we can see each other more often. I love you all."

The concert for all three days were successful as fans showed their never ending support and requested encore performances.

On the other hand, Jaejoong released his first solo mini album this past January and began his Asia tour and visited 8 cities around Asia and met with a total of 83,000 fans.

Group TVXQ's 37th Japan single, OCEAN, has ranked number 2 on the Japan Oricon Weekly charts.

This album was released on June 12 and sold 88,428 copies on the first day. It sold 14,872 in the first week and showed their immense popularity.

Their song, "Ocean," is a fun and upbeat dance song and has also been chosen as the June theme song for 4 popular entertainment program shows in Japan.

Another one of their songs from the album titled, "Wedding Dress" is also being used as a drama OST as well.

On the other hand, TVXQ, is currently still on their Japan dome tour. They will be performing at the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama on August 17-18 for their 'TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2013 TIME' finale performance.

 At a meeting with Japanese fans, the singing group Kara officially announced plans for another Japanese arena tour to be held in October. According to a June 24 announcement by the group’s agency, DSP Media, Kara held fan meetings twice in Japan with a total audience of 24,000 in attendance and announced that they would hold a second arena tour of seven cities in Japan in October.

There will be two concerts at each arena, starting from Yokohama on October 8, and proceeding to Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Fukui, and Kobe. An agency official says, “A total audience of 140,000 are expected to attend this tour. In this second tour, the girl group will take the level of the performance up a notch.”

Kara held their first arena tour in Japan in April last year and  drew a total audience of 150,000 in six cities, proving themselves to be one of the hottest Korean female groups in Japan.

One of the most love Korean band is CNBLUE, and this group really has proves their power skills in music.They also has unique style in composing their own songs.

CNBLUE recently released their 6th Japanese single entitled 'Lady' and has ranked number one in Japan's Tower record pre-order chart.

The group is having a blast considering their world concert tour is always sold out and because they are gaining so much love from their fans in Asia.

The single was set to be released on July 31 but it has a higher impact to listeners considering CNBLUE's quality in music.

'Lady' ranked number one earlier this week and is still gaining popularity until it will be release to the public officially.

On June 18, the single also dominates Japan's HMV pre-order charts, Korean- Asian pre-order charts as well as the daily music charts.

CNBLUE album included songs "Lady", "Don't Care" and more.

Fans will be delighted to know that three of the songs included on the album was originally composed by CNBLUE members.

CNBLUE is still continuing their world tour and set to have a concert on June 29 in China's Beijing Capital Indoor Stadium. Like any other concert of CNBLUE it will most likely be a massive success and another trophy to their group effort.

Group FTISLAND will be releasing their 11th Japan single soon.

FTISLAND will be releasing their new single on June 24 and begin activities.

This single will include a total of 3 songs including the title song and two other songs.

The title song will also be used as the ending song for a Japan animation movie version that is releasing on June 27.

FTISLAND members will also be featuring their voices in the animation as well.

Previously, their 4th single, SATISFACTION, from 2011 was also used as an ending song for the same animation.

On the other hand, FTISLAND has started their 'FTISLAND Arena Tour 2013- FREEDOM' and will be holding a concert on June 22 in Japan.

Girl group Girls' Generation held a surprise flash mob in Japan with 4,000 fans for their new song, "LOVE&GIRLS."

Today, Japan media stated, "Girls' Generation danced to their new song with 4,000 of their fans."

On June 19, Girls' Generation and 4,000 of their fans performed a flash mob of their new song at the Osaka Universal Studio Japan.

According to one media, Sooyoung commented, "This was the first time we were revealing our new song so we were very nervous. We are so glad that it was a success. We were so happy to be dancing along with our fans."

The new song that they revealed, "LOVE&GIRLS," featured a fun and bright song that matched the group's image well.

The song also features easy lyrics and fun dance moves that anyone can follow easily.

They also feature a 'shampoo' dance where they look like they are washing their hair.

On the other hand, Girls' Generation's new song ranked number 6 on the Oricon chart on the day of its release.

Big Bang′s Daesung is invited to perform at the 60th anniversary event for Nihon TV in Japan. He'll be the only Korean to attend on that big event. 

Daesung or D-Lite has been holding his solo tour D-Lite D′scover Tour in Japan since March so learning about his appearance is such a joy for his supporters.
On the other hand, Big Bang is going to tour in six domes in Japan from November to January 2014. The first foreign group to do that, and only the second in Japan after Mr. Children.

[News] An FTIsland promotional truck is touring several city districts in Japan

 On June 12, FTIsland’s agency, FNC Entertainment, released a photo of members of the group standing by a truck that is covered with the jacket image of the group’s third Japanese album, Rated FT. The members are taking a break in front of the so-called “FT Car” and have left their autograph on the truck.

From June 10 to 16, the truck is touring several busy city commercial districts in Japan, including Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Omotesando to promote the group’s album.

The album contains eleven songs, including the lead number, “Freedom,” and several songs the members wrote themselves. It will be released soon.

[News] Boyfriend’s Dong Hyun and B1A4’s Sandeul are cast in lead roles in a musical

According to an announcement made today by their agencies, Dong Hyun, a member of Boyfriend, and San Deul, of B1A4, have both been cast in lead roles in the Hallyu musical Thousandth Man.

The theme of the musical is the gumiho, the historical Korean female ghost, to express the true meaning of love, which is being forgotten these days, in an ironic but humorous way. This will be Dong Hyun’s first try at a musical. He was chosen for the role unanimously by a casting board because of his outstanding ability in singing and acting.

The musical will open at the AiiA Theater in Tokyo, Japan, on September 28.

The group Boyfriend has released a new single, “ON&ON.” About the new song, the group’s agency said on May 28, “Longing can be a pain for someone, but it also can be a faint delight for others.”

“ON&ON” shows a boyish sense of expression, and the music features refreshing synthesizer sounds, brass instruments, and emotive electric guitar and bass reminiscent of old British rock. There’s a warmth and innocence, like a lovely watercolor, to Boyfriend’s rendition of this song about good-byes.

The music video of “ON&ON” was done outdoors in Japan and has an appealing clean look. It consists of video clips of a music tour that recall the two years since the group’s debut.

Group JYJ member Jaejoong will be holding his Asia tour finale in Japan next month.

His agency stated today, "Jaejoong will be holding his asia tour finale in Japan. It will be held from June 24-26 and meet with 13,000 fans each day for a total of 40,000 fans."

They continued, "Although his solo album was not officially released in Japan, it still became very popular through iTunes and amazon. He was also confident with his concert contents and decided to hold the finale here."

He sold 14,000 copies of his first solo mini album I, and his repackage album, Y. Being his first debut as a solo singer, he made outstanding rankings on music charts. His pre-released song, "One Kiss" also ranked number 1 on the Japan iTunes and showed off his immense popularity.

An official commented, "Jaejoong worked and produced his own concert for the finale. He will be holding a fan meeting style event for the first half and hold a mini concert for the second half of his concert. He will be singing many songs including his hit songs and other Japan songs for his fans."

CNBLUE, who released their 5th Japan single, Blind Love, is making a long run on the Japan charts.

Their new album has been making an 'all-kill' for one month no the ringtone chart. According to the site, it states that all the songs on their single was ranked number 1,2 and 3 on the monthly chart.

Their song, "Blind Love" was also number 1 on the K-pop Asia weekly category as well.

Their three songs, "Blind Love", "Greedy Man" and "With your Eyes" have all gained much love from fans. All 3 songs are also self composed by CNBLUE as well, showing their talented music skills.

On the other hand, on May 25-26, they will be holding their Korea concert portion of their 2013 world tour. They will then continue on to Australia in June.

The '2013 CNBLUE Blue Moon World Tour' was to support their 5th album, Re:Blue, which was released back in January.

After finishing activities in Korea, the tour officially began in Taiwan. They then continued on to other parts of the world including Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and more.

They are also the first Korean band to go on a world tour as well. Their concert in Australia will be their first time for a Korean band to perform there as well.

This album also gained much attention as the songs were also self-composed by CNBLUE.

During the interview of Daisuke Takahashi, Japanese figure skater and an Olympic medalist, on Mezamashi TV‘s program, he wasn't able to keep himself from expressing his adoration with Korea's 2NE1. He even danced a part of 2NE1's choreography for “I Am the Best”.
However, there's a revelation. Daisuke Takahashi disclosed that he would want to be CL's future husband.
