Recently, in an online community forum, a picture of Lee Hyun Woo's airport fashion was posted. This was when Lee Hyun Woo was leaving for Japan for promotion of SBS drama "To the Beautiful You" on August 10.

On this day, Lee Hyun Woo wore denim shorts with a gray pullover, matching chic sunglasses and a rather cute snapback with flower patterns on it.

Lee Hyun Woo had recently been surrounded by dating scandals with IU after watching a movie alone with her late at night.

Singer IU and actor Lee Hyun Woo who recently was caught up in a scandal together, clarified the rumor.

On August 8, photos of the two near a movie theater in Seoul was captured and posted online.

Lee Hyun Woo's agency commented, "The two became close friends after being MC's together on 'Inkigayo'. The two were free at the same time and decided to go watch a movie together. Isn't it ok for friends to go to the movies together."

IU's agency also stated, "It is true that they watched a movie together, and both their managers and staff members were there as well."

Many internet users are now believing that they are close friends instead of dating due to the prompt statement released by both sides agencies.

The photos were captioned, "IU and Lee Hyun Woo watched a movie late at night", leaving fans to throw in their own guesses about the situation.

Lee Hyun Woo previously made a cameo in IU's "You & I" MV, and the two also worked together as 'Inkigayo' MCs, building up a friendship.

Fans proposed varying guesses that range from the two being just good friends to the two being more than friends. Some also suggested the photos seem to be from a group setting but only Lee Hyun Woo and IU were singled out, or that the photos were taken by someone that they both know since the photos seem a little too close up to be a paparazzi shot by a passerby.

As ambassadors for PiFan, the two actors participated in the opening and are featured in the Max Movie Magazine .
