On July 18, Mnet held the one and only summer awards ceremony for youth, the ‘20’s Choice Awards’ which took place at Ilsan’s KINTEX Exhibition Hall.

Singer John Park revealed that he pondered whether he should go under the knife.

On July 8, he made an appearance on the summer special episode of KBS’s variety program “Escaping Crisis Number One” where he talked about the risks of plastic surgery.

He shared during the episode that he was recently asked by his friends, “If you want to get plastic surgery, where do you want to get fixed?” John Park shared that he did go in for consultation before and thought, “What would it be like if I did jaw surgery?”

MC Kim Jong Gook advised, “If you get jaw surgery, you will lose your current charms.” Fellow guest Kim Sook asked, “I think you’ll lose your manly charms.”

The staff shared photoshopped pictures of Kim Jong Gook and Kim Sook revealing how they would look if they underwent surgery. Kim Sook commented, “Even I have to admit it. I look pretty good.”

[News] John Park calls out for his “Baby” on ‘M! Countdown’

Singer John Park is returning to the music scene with his first studio album, ‘Inner Child’, featuring his heart-fluttering title song, “Baby”.

It is known that John Park himself produced the album and he made five songs out of 11 tracks. The remaining six tracks are the works of popular musicians, such as Lee Juck, Lee Hyori’s boyfriend Lee Sang Soon and other various artists.

John Park said, “I’m so glad that I have worked over a year with the musicians I admire. I wanted to do music that I dreamt of since I was young and I put 200% of effort in this album.”

[News] John Park Holds Comeback Showcase for “Baby”

Vocalist John Park recently made a comeback with his new track “Baby,” and performed his new song and others for the “Melon Premier Showcase.” The video was shared through the official LOEN Entertainment YouTube channel.

“Baby” is from John Park’s first full album, “Inner Child.” For the showcase he performed “Baby” and other tracks from the album, “Where” and “Sipping My Life,” in an intimate cafe setting. In the showcase interview John Park talks about the concept for the showcase and talks a little bit about each of the songs in “Inner Child,” including several that he wrote. He also made his showcase audience laugh with his anecdotes as he interacted with the crowd.

Singer John Park recently held his ‘MelOn Premier John Park VIP Showing Inner Child’ that took place in Seorae Village in Seocho District, Seoul to celebrate the release of his first official album ‘Inner Child’.

On July 4, Loen Entertainment revealed the footage from the VIP showcase. In the event, John Park performed live the title song of his new album “Baby” along with “Too Late,” “Stop,” and “Sipping My Life” which he personally wrote and composed.
