[News] Super junior of Siwon says, “Boa is my close friend”

In a recent appearance as a guest on the SBS show Thank You, Si Won of Super Junior revealed that he is a close friend of Boa’s. The episode will be broadcast on August 9 and is follow-up on the last week’s show, in which Son Hyun Ju, Boa, and Moon Jung Hee appeared.

In the episode, Boa invited Si Won, who is known as one of her closest friends. He came on the show with a lot of presents for her, which touched the hearts of all the staff members.

The Super Junior member said, “I can’t forget the first time I met Boa, because I was so embarrassed at her behavior.” But Boa herself said she couldn’t remember. He added, “Now, we’ve become so friendly that I can say I’d be willing to be her manager. I even call her ‘Sister Boa.’”

Besides Si Won, actor Yoo Hae Jin, who is close to both Son Hyun Ju and Boa, and other friends of Son appear on the program.

SBS has announced the cancellation of variety talk show ‘Thank You’ after five months of run.

A representative confirmed, “The episode 22 of ‘Thank You’ to be aired on the 9th will be the final episode.” He also explained that the main reason for the show’s cancellation is to secure the network’s program diversity as ‘Thank You’ has the same concept with ‘Healing Camp’.

For its last episode, the variety talk show will feature singer BoA and actor Son Hyun Joo, bringing the talented actor and singer together for the first time. Super Junior’s Siwon will make an appearance as well.

‘Thank You’, which kicked off this March, features deep interviews with celebrities. However, the show has also struggled in viewership ratings with a poor average of 4-5 percent.

[News] Siwon Of Super Junior Tells Young Fans There's No Shame In Waiting To Date, But He Prefers To Get Physical After One Day

Singer Siwon of the 12-piece K-pop boy band Super Junior doesn't think anyone should start dating until they're ready, but says he's ready for physical contact after one day with a woman.

Appearing with his Super Junior bandmate Ryeowook on the South Korean radio program "Kiss The Radio" on Friday, the singer (whose full name is Siwon Choi) opened up about the dangers of dating too young.

"When you're a student, it's important to stay grounded," Siwon said. "It's not late to start dating after you become an adult."

Yet when it comes to his own personal romantic life, the singer, who Billboard claims is the most followed Korean on Twitter, says he was born ready.

"I only need one day [to become physically intimate with a woman]," Siwon admitted, when given the choice between a day or a month of courtship.

"If a man is confident, he can approach her first,"
According to Ryeowook, Siwon has that kind of confidence.

"Siwon normally likes [physical intimacy]," Ryeowook said.

"He behaves like he's from a foreign country."
Super Junior's ladies' man also discussed his first love.

"I experienced my first love when I was in my third year of middle school," Siwon said.

"My father was pretty strict, so I disobeyed him. Now that I look back on it, it was a good memory, but I regret it...I'm normally the one people break up with first. If my feelings change, I am the type to tell her honestly. So I [asked] my girlfriend at the time to break up [with me] first."

Super Junior has been on the road for their "Super Show 5" world tour since March.

The band recently played shows in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru, capitalizing on the South American K-pop craze.
"South America was amazing, very powerful," Siwon told Billboard Magazine last month.

"We didn't imagine they like K-pop there and they loved it! The fans always make amazing moments for us. I just have to mention how appreciative I am."

This summer, the group will head to Japan for a pair of shows at the Tokyo Dome on July 27 and 28.
That same week, the group will release their first Japanese studio album, entitled "Hero."

The album will feature Japanese versions of past Super Junior hits like Sexy, Free & Single," "Bonamana," "Mr. Simple," "Opera," "Our Love" and "Way."

Super Junior managed to defeat the great Laura Pausini during the second round in the Artist Saga category at the MTV Italy Awards 2013. During the previous turn they could defeat an other Italian singer, Marco Carta, and now it’s time for the challege against Marco Mengoni, supported by his ”Esercito” (his fandom), who brought him to the victory against Justin Bieber.

Italian Elf, foreign fans but also Italian no-elf, are keeping on voting for Super Junior in order to let them reach the final round against Alessandra Amoroso or One Direction, it depends on the result of this penultimate challenge.

As always, in this kind of competitions fans sometimes overreact, leaving mean comments, but for this round Italian Elf and the Esercito are hoping for a healthy competition without negative comments, respecting each other!

In a recent episode of MBC Every1’s ‘Star Photo n Talk’ featured the list for the 30 best looking idol stars. Among countless idols, 2PM’s Nichkhun came out on top according to the show's ranking.

A great number of plastic surgeons, TV show staffs, personology specialists, and viewers participated in the poll. Nichkhun was voted as the best looking idol star, defeating ZE:A’s Siwan in a close fight of 0.16 points.

Kim Hyung Joong came in 3rd followed by Super Junior’s SiWon, SHINee’s Minho, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA and miss A’s Suzy.

Super Junior gains its ”world’s biggest boy band” title by having the most
number of members in a group than any other male groups in the music
industry around the world. The title goes well with another biggest achievement
complementarily, by having E.L.F as the biggest fandom among all K-pop fandoms.

The biggest boy band had once reached their record of 13 members in total,
which includes Leeteuk (leader), Siwon, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Yesung, Ryeowook,
Shindong, Sungmin, Heechul, Kangin, Kibum, Kyuhyun and Hangeng in their
“Sorry Sorry” days, later on with the addition of Zhoumi and Henry in Super
Junior M, which gives a sum of 15 members as in overall. However, their number
of members is getting lesser due to various unavoidable circumstances such as
enlistment, acting career and internal/personal issue.

Hangeng left Super Junior due to his dissatisfaction with SM Entertainment under
some internal/personal issue with the company. Kibum went enthusiastically into
his acting career. Likewise any other male Koreans, Super Junior could not detach
themselves from the honorable enlistment duty for their country. The members
take turns to fulfill their duty. Right after the return of Kangin, Leeteuk went for
his enlistment. Yesung as well, has joined the military service recently. Alternately,
Heechul will finish his duty and is expected to join Super Junior in August.
Unfortunately sometimes Siwon too, might not be joining the members in certain
performances due to his busy acting career.

Obviously, the curse of enlistment has left all K-pop fans desperate. The absence
of their bias during their military service is aching the hearts of millions fans around
the world. And yet, patience is the only way to cope with and need not to be taught.
The fans know the best.

Although Super Junior might fail to withhold its honor title with their decreasing
members in the future, ELFs will never abandon Super Junior. Similarly, Super Junior
will always repay ELFs for their magnificent love and support given to them by giving
them their quality performance and the best of Super Junior.

[News] The 'Avengers' Return To Korea: Oh Wait, No. It's Super Junior!

After a successful concert tour in South America, Super Junior arrived back in Korea safely in a unique airport fashion.

Media reporters were notified that the members of Super Junior will be landing in "Avengers" costumes shortly before their arrival. Lo and behold, there were Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Spiderman, as well as the lonesome non-avenger character, Hwang Bi Hong.

Siwon and Donghae pulled off the muscular, modern male looks of Iron Man and Captain America while Shindong took on the character that other members most likely deferred to him: The Incredible Hulk. Completely in character, green-painted Shindong entertained the crowd and the media reporters with beastly facial expressions and gestures.

There was a masked member of Super Junior who, by process of elimination, turned out to be Ryeowook.

Not surprisingly, he was dressed up as Spiderman, Then there was the one and only non-Avenger character who hung his head the whole time due to embarrassment. Sungmin, for whatever reason, was dressed up as Hwang Bi Hong.

[News] Eunhyuk Shares Shirtless Pics From Brazil

The second picture Eunhyuk shared shows them by the pool, each one relaxing and without a shirt. The caption read, “swim swim swim.” Donghae is wearing a black cap and gazing up at the camera, Siwon is looking out across the water and Eunhyuk is smiling at the camera while making a v across his forehead.

Though Donghae and Siwon’s bodies are mostly hidden in the shot, Eunhyuk is posing playfully in his swim trunks and gives a fully exposed view of his amazing abs. It appears someone has been doing some extra exercise lately! Judging from all the comments and responses on twitter, the pictures have certainly met with the approval of Super Junior fans around the globe.

Super Junior is currently on their world tour “Super Show 5″. The tour kicked off with two performances in Seoul and was followed by a performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil on April 21st. The tour continues in South America, with the next show in Argentina on April 23rd. The tour marks the largest South American tour by a Korean artist.

While many of us won’t be able to attend the “Super Show 5″ in South America, I don’t think anyone will be complaining too much. Because if the warm, summer-like weather in South America is what will give us pictures like these, then I say bring it on!

Super Junior fans… take a deep breath and prepare yourselves for a treat! Eunhyuk, Donghae and Siwon are getting into the summer spirit by relaxing poolside in Brazil and we have the shirtless pictures to prove it.

Eunhyuk tweeted two different photos of the trio. The first one shows the 3 gorgeous guys flashing peace signs at the camera while walking. The photo caption read, “walk walk walk….run run run!!!!!!!” Eunhyuk and Siwon are both smiling at the camera, while a shirtless Donghae peers around Siwon to get in the shot also.

Super Junior‘s member, Siwon recently tweeted that they are ready for their upcoming concert this March. He tweeted a picture that looks like it was taken in a practice room either during break time or after their practice.

As have been announced by SM Entertainment before, Super Junior will be having their Super Show 5 concert in Seoul, Korea this 23rd to 24th of March. More details regarding locations and dates will be revealed soon.
