With all the hype surrounding Lee Hyori's wedding, the August 7 installment of SBS' 'One Night of TV Entertainment' revealed that there were rumors she went over to the United States just to buy her wedding dress.

A representative from a wedding enterprise said, "Because Lee Hyori is a fashionista she knows her own style the best. There are rumors saying that she went over to America just to buy her wedding dress herself."

She wrote on her twitter, "I didn't want a huge wedding in the first place. We will just gather our parents and close friends and have dinner together in place of a wedding."

She continued, "I've always said that I wanted a small and quiet wedding and Sang Soon has agreed with me on this."

Many celebrities have congratulated the soon to be couple with tweets and messages online.

In the teaser, boyfriend and musician Lee Sang Soon asked if Fin.K.L. will sing the congratulatory song. However, it fell on deaf ears with Hyori busy typing away on her keyboard. She got up quickly because she had somewhere to go and he asked if he’s the only one taking care of the wedding planning.

Currently busy preparing for her upcoming wedding, Lee Hyori arranged time for a fashion magazine pictorial. The concept was “Indian summer” and the singer showed a new side to her with braided hair, cool nose piercing and painted face. As the concept was recreating Indian motive into modern ways, she showed variety of poses and facial expressions that match the concept.

Who said the ex-Fin.K.L members were on bad terms? Well, actually Lee Hyori mentioned that during the show “Radio Star” a while back, but she did note that they’ve all put their differences aside and are on relatively good terms now. On that note, Lee Hyori’s fellow Fin.K.L member Ock Ju Hyun has gifted her with the best present imaginable- the one thing that Ock Ju Hyun does better than anyone else and that is the gift of song.

In a Twitter post on July 7, Ock Ju Hyun posted a Youtube video titled “Ruby to Leader Hyol,” where she can be seen singing one of Fin.K.L’s classic hits “Ruby.” As for why she picked this song over the other Fin.K.L songs, that reason can be clearly seen once you look at the lyrics which goes “Yeah I’ll let you go, I won’t expect anything. For my sake rather than keep you by my side with difficulty, I’ll let you go for your sake.” It’s a rather witty way of both congratulating her and lamenting the fact that Hyori will be getting married first.

Let’s not forget that Hyori isn’t one to ignore a gift like this. She replied to the Twitter post saying “Hahaha. Bye, I’ll be going first.” As we reported before, Lee Hyori is set to her marry her boyfriend and famous guitarist Lee Sang Soon in September.

According to a local media outlet, singer Lee Hyori and musician boyfriend Lee Sang Soon will be tying the knot in September. The couple is said to have already finished printing their wedding invitations, however, exact date and other details have not been confirmed yet.

Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon have been dating for around three years. They went public with their relationship back in 2011.

According to Newsen, on June 25, SBS’ “Hwashin” featured singer Lee Hyori and comedian Kim Gu Ra.

Kim Gu Ra mentioned before that he felt uncomfortable around Lee Hyori, and because he avoided her, the two were often awkward around each other during filming. However, as soon as “Hwashin” began filming the episode, Kim Gu Ra and Lee Hyori shared a big hug.

MC Kim Hee Sun said to Kim Gu Ra, “I never knew until now that you had an innocent side.” Kim Gu Ra confessed, “I made a big mistake on an internet broadcast a while ago,” referring to some comments he made about Hyori back in 2003.

Regarding coming on the show and filming with Lee Hyori, Kim Gu Ra said, “I feel that these celebrities who are ten years younger than me, like Moon Hee Joon and Lee Hyori, are my “dongsengs” (like younger siblings). According to B2M Entertainment, Lee Hyori will resume her promotional activities with “Going Crazy” starting on KBS ‘Music Bank’ on June 28th, followed by appearances on other music shows. She is set to wrap up promotions by the end of next month.

On June 17, Lee Hyori made a guest appearance on SBS’s Power FM program, “Jang Ki Ha‘s Amazing Radio.”

On that day, DJ Jang Ki Ha asked Lee Hyori, “What is your greatest fear?” to which she jokingly replied, “Ghosts.” However, the female singer went on to confess that she was most afraid of “losing herself.”
She explained, “I don’t want to lose sight of who I am by being caught up with following everyone else. I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to recognize my true self.”

About her fifth album that she released after three years, Lee Hyori shared, “This album is special because it represents the ‘before’ and ‘after’ Hyori. Since I set the bar pretty high for myself, I never dared to consider writing my own songs for release. But someone once told me that even songs written by an amateur like myself could be part of my record, so I mustered the courage to use my original song, ‘Miss Korea‘  as the title track for my latest album.”

Reigning Queen, no, King(?), of K-Pop, Lee Hyori, has released another music video. this time for “Going Crazy,” the follow-up track to “Bad Girls” from her album “Monochrome.”

Lee Hyori takes up both genders, dressing up in a black suit and mustache to portray a man, and in white lingerie as a woman. She is a “bad guy” in the music video, seducing women with her cool and masculine(?) attitude.

The music video was produced as a collaboration between Lee Hyori and OnStyle network’s “Challenge Super Model Korea.”

“Going Crazy” features comedian Ahn Young Mi who narrates in the track. She says, “Wow, Lee Hyori. What do you like about that man so much? Is he so great?”

One particular moment of Lee Hyori's appearance on Wednesday's episode of the Korean Broadcasting System show "Happy Together 3," may have gotten her boyfriend Lee Sang Soon's attention.

When the issue of marriage was brought up, Lee Hyori explained why she felt more open discussing her current relationship with the press.

"I've never dated publicly before. I think that's why I can talk more comfortably about him," the star said, before issuing Lee Sang Soon an eye-opening warning.

"I always dated thinking that this man would be my last love, but I've failed, too...do you think you have me? Don't be so sure."

The jokingly threatening comments were a a far cry from Lee Hyori's statements last week on the South Korean radio program "Kim Bum Soo's Music Plaza."

The 34-year-old Queen of K-pop said that although her and her boyfriend don't have any concrete wedding plans, she likes the idea of being married to him.

"If I were to get married, I'd like Lee Sang Soon to be my husband," Lee Hyori said.  "But we haven't made any concrete plans for that yet."

K-pop's Queen of the "Bad Girls" laid out the complicated chronology that eventually led to her and her boyfriend getting together in the Wednesday interview.

"I met Lee Sang Soon through [South Korean songwriter] Jung Jae Hyung," Lee Hyori said.

"Back then, I was kind of hyperactive and bold, so apparently he didn't like that. I thought that we weren't meant to be, but then I ran into him again a year later at a concert. So I decided to try to make it work, but then he had a scandal with someone else."

But fate seemed to pull the couple back together.

"So I started dating someone else right away," the singer explained.

"We dated other people, broke up with them, but in the end we started to date each other."

Lee Hyori's single "Bad Girls" is currently the number two song on Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100, after spending last week at number one.

The song also topped South Korea's GAON Digital and Download charts, along with Lee's other single "Miss Korea," which is currently number 17 on the Billboard K-pop charts.
