"I received so many flowers today! How do I feel now that I am twenty and legally an adult in Korea? I am not sure. I still feel like a kid" said Juniel in an orange outfit and bright yellow nails.

Debuting in 2012, Juniel has been creating a unique fan base as one of the handful female sing-a-song-writers in the sea of idol artists. Her third mini album, Fall In L, was released recently and her title song "Cute Guy" has been receiving a lot of support from the fans.

"All my previous songs have been sad and emotional. I wanted to present something different this time so 'Cute Guy' is my way of saying I am not that depressed. Haha," Juniel said.

Juniel trained herself in Japan through writing and composing songs and doing street performances as a high school student. The streets are where Juniel matured and developed into a seasoned musician.

She misses much of her street performing days back in Japan, especially the close connection she was able to have with her audience, actively communicating with the listeners on the spot.

"I want to do live street performances in front of Hongik University. International fans sometimes request it, too."

Unlike her petite looks, Juniel knows exactly what she likes and dislikes. She sometimes goes on hikes and receives inspirations in nature, but other times she just wallows in bed if she feels like it.
"I love freedom. I hate being stuck in a box. As for my future goals, I just want people to listen to my songs and associate my tunes with a certain period of their lives as they look back way down the road," Juniel said.
