June 8th is the anniversary of the popular group ss501. It has been 8 years since their debut and the band released a special video thanking fans for their faithful support.
Although the group has been on hiatus for 3 years, their popularity is still at it’s peak. According to Daum Café, the group is still ranked #5, beating out groups like EXO and Super Junior.
Their fans (known as Triple S) have a large part in the band’s continued popularity. Showing deep devotion and loyalty, they have not given up hope that the group will one day reunite. To thank these faithful fans across the globe, the members of ss501 (minus group leader Kim Hyun Joong) released a video in celebration of their 8th anniversary and delivering special messages to their fans, thanking them for their continued support.
