With the recent announcement that SM was going to debut Henry as their first soloist in 12 years, people have been anxiously awaiting the release of Henry’s first song and video “Trap.”
The video has finally been released and combined with an amazing live performance of the song on Music Bank, it looks like Henry’s solo debut is off to a great start.
The video opens with Henry showing off his extraordinary piano skills and soon breaks into a more upbeat dance number, featuring vocal solos by popular SM artists Taemin and Kyuhyun. With a catchy beat and an appealing visual, the song is already gaining a lot of praise on youtube. The crowd at Music Bank also seemed to approve of the performance as they cheered loudly and enthusiastically.
Some of the comments from fans? “I loved every single part of this video”, “Aigooo this song is too good” and “What a passionate and talented young artist. Personally I would say his album is a must!” The video is even receiving positive comments from other fandoms such as, “I’m a Shawol and I’m aware that Taemin is here.. but I didn’t come for him… I was anticipating Henry’s song and it was worth it!!”
