BEAST has recorded first place for the most downloaded song on Gaon‘s weekly chart.
According to Gaon, BEAST sold 746,457 units of the track “Shadow” from their latest album, “Hard to Love, How to Love,” for the week of July 21-27. Gaon is similar to Billboard in the U.S. as a national record chart that compiles both online and offline music sales.
In second place was a collaboration song “Where Do You Want to Go?” (translated title) between Taewan, Leessang‘s Gary, and Crush with 668, 455 units. Ailee‘s “U&I” is third, having sold 649,440 units. She sold 1,002, 370 units the previous week, placing first. BEAST was seventh place (July 14-20) that week with 447,047 units. Keep in mind that the track was released July 19 KST. It topped eight real-time music charts that day.
