Kim Hyun Joong‘s third mini album, “Round 3,” has topped Billboard‘s World Albums Chart!
“Round 3″ was released July 22, and in the chart made public in August, the album was ranked first.
Billboard uses data from the Nielsen SoundScan to rank albums from non-English speaking countries.
Kim Hyun Joong not only topped this “world” chart, but also locally in Korea, rising to quickly on online charts after it was released. Kim Hyun Joong also recorded first place in the dance/electronic genre chart for iTunes in eight locations: Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Macau, and Hong Kong.
Kim Hyun Joong released two music videos from this album: one for “Unbreakable,” which fuses Korean and hip-hop elements, and one for the title track “Your Story,” which shows the singer getting physically intimate with his lover.
